SMGFL PRESENTATION EVENT 2016

SMGFL PRESENTATION EVENT 2016
The SMGFL 2016 Presentation Event will take place on Sunday 5th June. This year the event will be held at the A. J. Bell Stadium, 1 Stadium Way, Eccles, Salford M30 7EY.

The event will be split into two age sections with winners and runners-up in all competitions receiving awards:

U11s, U12s and U13s will start at 12.30pm (doors open at 12pm)

U14s, U15s and U16s will start at 3.45pm (doors open at 3.15pm)

Admission will be strictly by ticket only, purchased in advance. There will be no tickets available for sale on the day.

Ticket details are as follows: -

Ticket prices are £3 for adults and £1 for children under 16s. (Under 5s free). Unfortunately, we must charge this for everyone that attends, including players.

Tickets must be purchased and/or reserved in advance by e-mail, petedyer222@btinternet.com or by sending a stamped addressed envelope (C5 size preferably) to 25, Mersey Road, Sale, Cheshire, M33 6HL.

- Payment should be made in advance by cheque payable to SMGFL and give details showing how many adult and child tickets are required, the age group and the team you will be supporting.

- Please, wherever possible arrange tickets through your club/team to minimise the number of ticket requests.

- Reserved tickets will be available to collect on the door, but must be paid for in advance.

- All are welcome, not just those that are there to pick up awards.

For those of you that have not attended our presentation before, we like to have a formal, yet informal sense to the occasion, and we would like any pictures that you may have of the teams either from your clubs games or our finals to show on the day. These pictures should be sent to the League Secretary, Pete Dyer at petedyer222@btinternet.com or League Chairman, Ian Barry at d.barry50@ntlworld.com

We would also be happy if players or team managers would like to make a brief speech during their particular presentation. This can be arranged on the day.

The final point to note is that the committee asks that squads who are picking up awards be suitably represented in their numbers and not rely on just 1 or 2 members to pick the medals up for everyone. We appreciate that circumstances may prevent everyone from being available, but we would like to see as many girls from the squads as possible to recognise their achievements.

There's always someone that makes a memorable contribution to your experience in football as a player, supporter, coach or even the opposition during the weeks leading to and at your game.
Please click on the image above to e-mail the League (in confidence) and nominate someone who deserves all our recognition, and in turn,
they will be Named and Praised accordingly.
